When uploading to the production server, it is worth paying attention to the following three things, as the hosting provider's configuration may differ from that of your own computer:

1. Availability of Modules (.htaccess)
The code is intentionally wrapped in <IfModule> blocks. This acts as a safety net: if your hosting provider happens to have disabled modern Brotli compression (mod_brotli) or Expires headers (mod_expires) on the production server, the server will not crash. It will simply bypass that specific section and continue executing the rest of the rules.

2. Caution with the HSTS Header
The code includes the following line: Header set Strict-Transport-Security "max-age=31536000; includeSubDomains; preload". This forces browsers to communicate with your domain exclusively via HTTPS for a duration of 1 year. If your SSL certificate accidentally expires or becomes invalid on the production server, visitors will be completely blocked from opening the site. Make sure to verify your SSL setup immediately after going live!

3. How to Test It in Production?
Once you have uploaded the file, don't just judge the site by its look—verify your configurations using these free tools:
    • Security (CSP, Headers): Test your domain on securityheaders.com. If everything is configured correctly, you should receive an A or A+ rating.
    • Caching and Compression: Run a performance test on GTmetrix or Google PageSpeed Insights to ensure you get a green light for "Leverage browser caching" and "Enable compression" sections.
